Top 10 Creatively Decorated Nerdy Cakes

Here's a selection of very creatively created, and probably delicious (or at least, hopefully delicious) cakes, just for the nerds, starting with Sponge Bob right here as an honorable mention (and frankly, it's not dorky enough). If only I could cook.. (no, sorry to disappoint, but cellular peptide cake with mint frosting is not on there..)

10. Javascript Cake

A cake of a guy sleeping and programming in Javascript. That's hardcore caking.

9. Futurama

It's the famous Futurama. Now on a cake. If it were more technical or 3D, this would probably rank higher.

8. Jabba the Hutt and Leia

Jabba looks pretty realistic.. if only a little too much. Leia, on the other hand, looks a bit fat. This cake is very unappetizing.. but that just means it's job well-done! (Who in their right mind would eat a Jabba?)

7. Pac-Man Atari
Pac-Man

Pac-Man cake looks delicious, and almost seems like it's playable!

6. RPG Dungeon

When Dungeon and Dragons gets involved.. apparently, the cakemaker is a GM, and those are her game characters!

5. Computer Cake

There are probably better computer cakes, but I like this one because of the Windows graphics! (good enough for me!)

This one gets extra points because of the "Happy 30th birthday". What's a better stereotype is there then an old geek living in the basement playing with his PS2?

3. D&D Monster Manual

This is, after all, the bible for many years, before everything's so easily accessible on the internet. So good that a book is now a cake!

2. Simpsons

Simpsons, the paragon of humor.. before it started sucking anyhow. The comic book guy, the nerdy scientist.. everyone can relate to characters in the show!

Shelob

Lord of the Rings pretty much started it all, and you can't get more realistic than this Shelob, even with step-by-step instructions on how to make your own. Even comes with a Frodo!
