There are little commentary needed to be
added to this one - if you were to pick 10 stocks to just hold for 10 years, which ones would you pick? Fortune magazine, presumably an expert in these matters chose 10... in the year 2000. Wonder how they did? Let's put it this way, Enron's on the list..

To be fair, diversifying to 10 stocks at least lowered the volatility. And no need to worry - instead of losing all your money on Enron, you only lost 10% of your money in Enron, and all your money on the other stocks..
